i dont know about not picking up needles through out the whole routine, maybe i missed that, but it wasnt like ONE 6 minute juggle or ONE 6 minute scratch routine. there were different routines within the record (4 i believe).

This is just what I had heard around here homie, I was not there. I'm actually a Slyce Fan, I've dug all the routines I've heard or seen from him. I was just thinking that when djs using customs change them to 2 more of the same records while doing their 6min routine is dumb. If somebody just laced their custom down with routines back to back without having to pick up the needles is the ultimate in convenience. Shit I would do that if I was to make a custom record, why bother picking up the needle and have it skip or some shit. Thats actually smart. |

I was counting on this discussion popping up. I used the customs because most of the songs i wanted to use didnt come on vinyl. (couldnt find "system of a down" on record) Besides, everyone already knows that all of my previous sets were done with real records anyway. Time to update. I wanted to show that genuine juggles can be done with customs as if I was using the real records, just without lifting the needles. Less time switching records leaves more time for juggles in my book. I was able to fit in 5 juggle routines and 2 scratch routines, plus an intro and outro by my boy Ace. Why not? Trust me, I know what the cheating is, and I hate it too.
I'm just happy to see everyone passionate about the battle regardless who youre pullin for. This will be a great battle indeeeeed! |

Dood nobody in their right mind would question your skills. I just always thought since all these customs came around, why are they bothering with using 6 copies of the same custom when they can just line up all their routines so they dont have to pick up their needles. It's a time saver, its not like ppl cant notice that they are using customs. lol But god damm 5 juggles homie. Holy schnikes, thats a whole lot of juggles, just like I like it. lol Good Luck mang. Cant wait to see the footage. |

Yeah I know how to edit the sounds so that the parts i need to cut and juggle all land on the same mark, without chopping up the original music too much. Kinda like Qberts Y record. That way I wont have to use 6 copies of the same record because i need different marks. At least I think thats why other dj's use so many copies. |
